We will not charge lending fees through OCLC to any of our PALCI partners. 

 

Lost Item & Billing Policies:

Lending

  • We will accept *hardcover* replacement copies in new or like new condition, same edition.  Please contact us at lib-ill@nyu.edu before obtaining/sending a replacement.

 

  • Lost items result in a $125 lost item fee.  Payment by check or credit card; please make all checks payable to New York University.  Send invoice requests to lib-ill@nyu.edu.

 

  • Billing amount for damaged material will vary, up to lost item cost.  To request a damage assessment please send the material back to Chantal's attention, or send photos of the damage via email.

 

Borrowing

  • We can pay by check*, electronic transfer*, or credit card.  We can also purchase replacements.

 

  • *Please note that all check and electronic payments require on-boarding into NYU's procurement system, i-Buy.  If your library can accept credit card payments or replacements, that is strongly encouraged for speedy payment and resolution.  Please reach out to Christopher Crowe and Chantal Brock with questions or problems with our payment process.
